About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior People Partner (HRBP) to join our People Team and support our growing workforce across all our Norway sites. 

As the Senior People Partner for Norway, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, delivering high-quality support across the full employee lifecycle. 
This is a hybrid role with regular travel across Norway required to provide in-person support to managers and teams in all our locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leaders across Norway to understand business needs and translate them into impactful people initiatives
  • Coach and advise managers on organisational design, team effectiveness, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management
  • Champion our company values and drive a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture across all sites
     

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with Norwegian labour law and collective agreements
  • Manage and mitigate people-related risk in partnership with legal and compliance teams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and policies, adapting global practices to local requirements where necessary
  • Contribute to onboarding experiences that set up new hires for success and retention
     

Performance & Development

  • Guide managers through the performance review and goal-setting process, ensuring fairness and consistency
  • Identify learning needs and support development initiatives to upskill leaders and employees
  • Support talent identification, career pathing, and leadership development programs
     

People Operations & Projects

  • Lead and support people projects related to engagement, DEI, well-being, retention, and policy implementation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR tools, processes, and systems in partnership with global People Ops
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insight to drive data-informed people decisions
     

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Liaise closely with the internal Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process in Norway
  • Support local workforce planning, hiring needs analysis, interview processes, and offers

 

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in Norway, preferably in a start-up / scale-up tech-driven environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Norwegian employment law, HR best practices, and local compliance requirements
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience supporting multiple sites/locations and willingness to travel within Norway as needed
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters and organisational change
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite
     

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience working in an international matrix organisation
  • Exposure to DEI, well-being, or ESG-related initiatives
